Frequently Asked Questions:

Which App will we use during the lessons?

We will use an online whiteboard for easy collaboration. This application is a fast, free, and simple-to-use digital whiteboard built to help you collaborate with others any time, anywhere. To access the board, you can download the app or just view it in your browser - the link will be provided shortly before the class.

What software/hardware do I need?

Preparing to learn with us is simple. You need three things: a stable internet connection, a computer (or a tablet) and ... to click on the link provided by your teacher shortly before the class.

Is FrenchSoEasy a language learning app?

No, we are not a language learning app. We are an online language school and the best language learning website. And like any school, we offer live classes with certified, native-speaking teachers. We believe that nothing can replace live interaction and customised feedback from a real person.

Concretely, what happens in a French class?

After scheduling a French class on our platform, you will be able to meet online with the tutor of your choice. The teacher will introduce herself and begin teaching the lesson using learning materials that you will see on an interactive whiteboard. You will have free access to the virtual board any time you want after the lesson and you can also download the learning materials (including your and teacher's notes) at the end of class.

What should I do if I won’t be able to take the planned lesson?

Sometimes your plans change and you may have to cancel/reschedule your lesson. In this case, we require you to give your tutor at least 4 (four) hours notice. Otherwise, you are liable to be charged the full amount for the scheduled lesson, unless the tutor agrees not to charge you after a formal discussion. We reserve the right for every tutor to charge the cost of the lesson that is cancelled less than 4 hours before its planned start time, without the possibility of this sum being refunded to the student or transferred to other tutors.

How long will my free trial last?

The duration of the trial is 40 minutes by default.
